We are dedicated to assuring that your home ownership experience goes smoothly and that you receive the most form your investment in your new home. In order to protect your investment in your new home, we have contracted with a firm to provide all our new homebuyers with an online Home Profile. What this includes is a comprehensive online file of all the documents associated with your new home, including but not limited to:
- All warranty materials for your new home
- All the colors associated with paint, brick, floor covering, etc.
- The subcontractors who worked on your home and their contact information
- The vendors who provided products for your new home and their contact information.
- The restrictions for your subdivision
- The closing statement for you home
- A Homeowner's Handbook that describes ways to care for your new home and a yearly maintenance schedule
- These and many more documents are included
These documents will be bound in a three ring binder available to you at your closing. The information will also be available on your online account that is associated with your new home. All the information in the binder will also be online, so if you misplace the folder you can always login and the information will be available for you. Your username and the unique password to access your account will be provided at closing. This subscription will never expire and will be available to you 24 hours a day.
This program not only guarantees a Home Profile, but the one year warranty that is provided with your new home will now also be included online. What this means for you, the homebuyer, is all warranty requests will be made online and will immediately be routed to Brown and Meers Homes. This will cut down on the time it takes to resolve warranty issues and the communication between the homebuyer and the warranty department will be greatly enhanced. All the emails associated with the warranty issue and the resolution of that issue will be saved for future reference. If you have a question as to whether an issue is covered under the one year warranty, just log in to your account and look through the warranty paperwork.
